The Trips:
Two certified guides will lead trips down the Minnesota River, starting in Montevideo. Stops along the route are different depending on the length of the trip, and highlight the beauty, community engagement, history, and environmental achievements and concerns along the watershed. Trips cost $100/day and include gear, food, and transportation. After registration, you will receive an email with more information about your group and what to pack. Register here and we'll see you on the river!
High School Expedition July 10-16
Have fun outdoors and boost your resume with this unforgettable canoe adventure! Sign up individually or with friends.

Day One: Trips start at Moonstone Farms in Montevideo, MN. We will meet at 2 pm to help out on the farm, eat, go over trip protocol, share stories around the fire, and camp on the farm. A representative from CURE (Clean Up Our River Environment) will meet us for dinner to discuss their work on the Minnesota River.
Day Two: Depart on the Minnesota River. Paddle 15 miles to a campground just north of Granite Falls. An educator from the DNR Fisheries Department will meet us there with fishing gear to teach us how to catch, filet, and cook fish.
Day Three: Portage over the Granite Falls Dam and the Minnesota Falls. Paddle to Upper Sioux Agency State Park.
Day Four: Pack up camp and tour Upper Sioux Agency to learn about the Dakota history on the river. Paddle, paddle, PADDLE!
Day 5: Paddling interspersed with an epic game of capture the flag.
Day 6: Arrive at a boat launch just north of New Ulm. Get picked up and drive to Flandrau State Park to get a tour. Camp at Riverside Park and hear stories about Dakota shared use of the river and music from special guests!
Day 7: Pack up camp and end our adventure. Drive home to tell our family how much fun we had (or to be antisocial upon return to society, up to you)!
This trip costs $90/day, all inclusive.
Family Expedition, June 1-5
Explore the Minnesota River with your family!

Father's Day Float June 15-16
Give Dad a Father's Day to remember...

Depart on the Minnesota River around 12 and paddle 15 miles to a campground just north of Granite Falls.
Day Two: An educator from the DNR Fisheries Department will meet us in the morning with fishing gear to teach us how to catch, filet, and cook fish. We will portage over the Granite Falls dam and get picked up by Minnesota Falls to end our trip in the late afternoon.
Trips cost $80/day per person, all inclusive.
Women's Weekend Canoe Adventure July 5-7

Paddle the Minnesota River with a group of amazing women of all ages!
Day One: Meet at Moonstone Farms in Montevideo at 10 am to eat lunch and go over trip protocol and safety. A representative from CURE (Clean Up Our River Environment) will meet us for lunch to discuss their work on the Minnesota River. Depart on the Minnesota River around 12 and paddle 15 miles to a campground just north of Granite Falls.
Day Two: An educator from the DNR Fisheries Department will meet us in the morning with fishing gear to teach us how to catch, filet, and cook fish. We will portage over the Granite Falls dam, paddle, and make camp.
Day Three: Arrive at Upper Sioux Agency State Park. Take a tour and get picked up by the WRA van. Head home, adios Minnesota River!
